Settings of Health app are accessible from Privacy. Sometimes due to strict privacy settings, it might not be counting steps as in that case, the motion coprocessor as a whole is disabled. So for that, follow below steps:
- Launch the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and go to Privacy Settings.
- There you will see “Motion and Fitness”.
- Tap on it and its settings will open.
- Now inside Motion and Fitness settings options, you will see two toggle switches: one for Fitness tracking and other for health.
- Make sure both are turned on. Mostly the Health toggle is off, so if it, turn it on.
Now close the Settings app. Also close the health app if it is opened. Open it again and now walk few steps. You will see that the steps are being calculated now.
